VIP arrival service at Havana airport
The main international terminal at Havana’s Jose Marti airport was built nearly 20 years ago and at times it struggles to cope with large numbers of passengers, particularly when multiple widebody planes arrive at the same time. It can easily take more than two hours from touching down on the runway to exiting the building, which can be all the more stressful if you are not a Spanish speaker and are not familiar with the various formalities of arrival in Cuba. To compound this, on occasion the air conditioning in the building breaks down, making the whole process less than enjoyable.
With Cuban Pioneers’ VIP arrival service, you will be personally met at the ramp off the plane, escorted past the queues at immigration, and ushered to the VIP lounge where you can enjoy a refreshing complimentary drink and snack while your baggage is fetched for you. You’ll then be shown to the taxi waiting area where you’ll be taken to your pre-booked airport transfer or assisted to find a taxi into Havana.
Cost: €45 per person. To book, please contact Cuban Pioneers office with flight details.
Arrive in style – Upon exiting the airport you will be met by one of our English-speaking drivers who will drive you into town in true Cuban style in a 1950s Chevrolet convertible.
Cost: €89 for collection up to 3 pax in a restored classic 1950s Chevrolet, transfer to Havana city centre.
